Almost all people try to make their tanned bodies look even more perfect in summer. Those who regularly visit the gym are well aware of what needs to be done in order to get their body in great shape; and for everyone else, there are several rules that must be followed in order to get rid of excess fat.

Train your muscles!

Why need to get rid of excess fat? To make your body look healthier and more attractive, right? But you’re not just going to get rid of excess fat and lose weight. Despite the fact that cardio exercises can burn extra calories, they are completely useless for strengthening muscles. And too much cardio and not enough calories can weaken the body.

Calorie Factor

It really comes down to a simple equation. If you consume fewer calories than you burn during your daily activities, you can get rid of excess fat. This is precisely the determining factor in weight loss success. However, you should not get carried away with this idea and starve yourself. You need to cut back on excess calories, but only to the level that your body needs to function healthy.

Many people tend to overestimate the amount of calories they burn, so it’s highly recommended to step back and keep a diary. Record the number of calories you eat and gradually reduce it by 500 calories per day. When fighting excess calories, you must first of all give up the calories obtained from eating junk food (fast foods) and snacks in between meals.

Fats are our friends

Healthy fats such as animal fats, coconut oil, nuts, and avocados support optimal testosterone levels and suppress hunger, thereby increasing the effect of exercise. You can’t get great results without eating enough healthy fats.

Avoid carbohydrates and artificial trans fats. Carbohydrates raise insulin levels, and trans fats are known to cause heart disease.

Eat more protein

Most people find this hard to believe, but protein is also a crucial factor in determining success in losing weight. Let me explain why this happens.

First, more energy is required to digest protein, so the digestive system works harder, burning more calories. Secondly, eating foods high in protein creates a feeling of fullness, which in turn leads to a reduction in the amount of food that is consumed in between meals.

Get a good night’s sleep

Sleep is vital to healthy functioning of the body. Studies show that people with disrupted sleep patterns tend to develop obesity. Not getting enough sleep leads to an increase in cortisol levels, which triggers fat storage. And to top it off, a lack of sleep also negatively affects the body’s production of growth hormone.
